Is GlucoYantra approved for use?
No. GlucoYantra is an investigational medical device software currently undergoing clinical investigation under the CDSCO regulatory pathway in India. It is not approved for commercial sale. We are not able to supply it outside of approved clinical investigation.
What does the software actually do?
It reads a patient's clinical context — not just the last glucose value — and proposes the next insulin decision for a clinician to review. Every recommendation is reviewed and approved by the treating team before it reaches the patient. Nothing acts autonomously.
Which patients is it designed for?
Hospitalised adults with diabetes or new-onset hospital hyperglycaemia, on either subcutaneous or intravenous insulin, across medical and surgical wards and ICUs. Pregnancy is included rather than excluded.
